2012 Range Rover HSE (L322) — 131,000 miles — garage-kept, 100% stock
I'm a Range Rover guy, and this L322 has been the one that's easy to love.
Owned since 2020 as the second owner — the first owner babied it, and I kept
that going: always garaged, never abused, completely unmodified. It drives
like a much newer truck.
THE QUEEN'S RANGE ROVER
The L322 was Queen Elizabeth II's favorite Range Rover. In her later years she
chose it over everything else in the royal fleet, and was seen driving one
herself as late as 2022. Land Rover has carried a Royal Warrant since 1951.
This is the generation — and the shape — the Queen chose for herself.
THE LAST OF THE CLASSIC DESIGN
- The final model year of the L322, the third-generation Range Rover.
- The last of the upright, three-box Range Rover silhouette: commanding
stance, clamshell hood, split (two-piece) tailgate, floating roofline.
Formal, purposeful, unmistakable.
- The last steel-monocoque Range Rover, before the 2013 L405 moved to an
aluminum body and a softer, rounder shape. This is the end of an era.
- 5.0L V8 from the final L322 update — smooth and strong.
